When Stephen Hawking was just 21 years old, the doctor found that he had an incurable disease. Doctors claimed that Stephen Hawking would live for at least 2 years, but with his strong will he proved the Doctor’s prediction to be a lie.
In an interview, Stephen was asked what in his view is the most interesting mystery of the world?
Stephen’s answer was “women”.
There is a great coincidence with Stephen’s birth and death.
Stephen Hawking was born on 8 January 1942.The amazing thing is that He was born 300 years after the great scientist Galileo Galilei died and Stephen died on the birthday of the great scientist Albert Einstein. It is absolutely surprising that these three were the greatest scientists of their time.
During an interview in 2010, he was asked what advice would you like to give to your children?
- Remember ,always look up at the stars and not at your feet.
- Never stop working, because work gives you meaning and purpose of life and life without work is empty.
- If you ever get your love by luck, never leave it.
Stephen Hawking was a mediocre student .In 2010, he said that he had not even learned to read until he was 8 years old.From schooling to Oxford he was a lazy student.Despite being a mediocre student , he was called Einstein during the school days because he had a great knowledge about the space-time universe.
An interview which was published in the British newspaper (The guardian) .During this interview Stephen said that our brain is a computer and this computer stops working when its components fail,and it is called death. After death there is no life or no heaven .All these beliefs are meant to give comfort to the fear of death because human is afraid of thinking that what will happen to his consciousness after death?
Stephen believed that there could be creatures on other planets apart from our world. He once said that looking at this infinite universe, the aliens would be true but we should not try to contact them.This can prove dangerous for us. He warned that aliens could cause huge damage to our earth for resources.
Stephen claimed that the Earth would become a fireball within 600 years.Population on Earth will be very high, which will cause more energy consumption. This will increase the temperature of the earth. In the end, the Earth will become hot and red, after which no one will survive. He said that in future robots will overtake humans and they will have a different civilization and we will all become their slaves. Stephen said that the Earth will end with nuclear war, in which all people will be killed and the whole earth will be destroyed.
